Damonique Sonnier
Damonique Sonnier is a Project Leader at Partners for Public Good (PPG), where she supports the organization’s Procurement Excellence Network, designing training curricula and facilitating technical assistance. Before joining PPG, Damonique developed training programs for members of the Procurement Excellence Network (PEN) and coached governments to improve their RFx and contract management processes through learning sprints and bootcamps at the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab. Prior to joining the GPL, Damonique spent two years supporting a municipal government in Sub-Saharan Africa focusing on economic and community revitalization, including strategies to increase the availability of contracting opportunities for micro, small, and local businesses. Prior to this work, she spent seven years at JP Morgan Chase, where she led strategic projects designed to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience, resulting in over $30M in cost savings.
Damonique holds a Master’s of Nonprofit Administration (MNPA) from Louisiana State University (Shreveport) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with an emphasis on International Business from Howard University.
Damonique’s favorite professional experiences include supporting the City of Saint Paul, MN in developing alternative indicators to measure public safety sentiments among youth residents, and collaborating with the DC Community Anchor Partnership—a civic alliance comprising 14 local anchor institutions advocating for inclusive contracting processes.
