Damonique Sonnier

Project Leader

Damonique Sonnier is a Project Leader at Partners for Public Good (PPG), where she supports the organization’s Procurement Excellence Network, designing training curricula and facilitating technical assistance support. Previously, Damonique was a Government Innovation Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab (GPL), where she coached governments and anchor institutions to improve their RFx development and contract management processes. Before joining the GPL, Damonique spent two years embedded in a municipal government in Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on economic and community revitalization work, including advocating for fair and efficient contracting processes with small businesses. Damonique also worked as a Project Manager at JP Morgan Chase, leading various strategic projects to improve operational efficiency and customer experience, which collectively realized cost savings of over $30M. 

Damonique holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University (Shreveport) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on International Business from Howard University.
