Olivia Lucas

Associate

Olivia Lucas is an Associate at Partners for Public Good (PPG), supporting the Procurement for Good Jobs portfolio, which helps cities leverage public contracting to advance high-quality jobs. Olivia currently provides technical assistance to the City of Cleveland, City of San Antonio, and City of Pittsburgh on integrating living wage and equitable hiring standards into procurement processes. Her work focuses on Request for Proposal development, contract monitoring, and vendor engagement. Prior to joining PPG, Olivia was the Social Impact Partnership Coordinator at San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, where she advised city contractors and non-profits on delivering small business development and job training programs. Olivia also worked for the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and completed internships in the offices of Senator Elizabeth Warren and former Congresswoman Barbara Lee. Olivia earned a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton University and a B.A. in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College. 

Favorite professional experiences: managing a database of 85 contracts worth over $20 million in social impact commitments from City vendors and facilitating public-private partnerships to support a food park featuring black-owned small businesses, a construction pre-apprenticeship program, and various other economic development initiatives.
