We've supported cities across the country through complex procurement challenges—from helping a city in Wyoming evaluate proposals for a $7M sustainable infrastructure improvement to guiding a city in Kansas in structuring procurements for a $25M downtown revitalization initiative.

We've worked hands-on with jurisdictions to strengthen procurement and project delivery systems. In Pennsylvania, we helped establish a cross-departmental team and coordinated procurement plan for a $12M transportation and pedestrian safety upgrade project.

We've helped cities design solicitations that attract stronger vendor participation. In small towns in Vermont and Michigan, we supported targeted vendor outreach and market research to increase competition and help communities secure qualified contractors.

We've helped local governments stretch limited resources and deliver major infrastructure projects. We supported a rural Alaskan island with combining harbor modernization projects into a single RFP, streamlining oversight while preserving an estimated $2-3M in grant funding for construction.

Our Impact

We’ve strengthened cities’ capacity to implement federal infrastructure funding. 213 participants from 199 cities joined the Local Infrastructure Hub seeking support to turn new federal infrastructure funding into real projects for their residents. PPG helped lead a pair of three-month bootcamps focused on procurement planning, writing effective solicitations, and onboarding vendors—building a community of practice and strengthening cities’ capacity to deliver infrastructure projects.
