Karl Hoesch
Karl is an Associate at Partners for Public Good (PPG), helping local governments plan, procure, and deliver public infrastructure projects. Karl brings nearly a decade of experience spanning energy justice research, public policy analysis, and community engagement. Prior to joining PPG, Karl led research on equitable clean energy transitions through federally funded projects, partnered with state agencies to design and evaluate renewable energy and weatherization programs for low-income households, and taught graduate-level courses on energy justice. Earlier in his career, Karl served as Assistant Director of Admissions at Hope College, where he led international recruitment efforts and developed strategies to connect with prospective students and families across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Karl earned his Ph.D. in Environment and Sustainability and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, where he was a Gerald R. Ford Presidential Fellow. He also holds a B.A. in Spanish and International Studies from Hope College.
