Matt Lee
Matt Lee is a Project Leader of Research at Partners for Public Good (PPG), where he supports the development and execution of PPG’s internal and external research portfolio. Alongside the rest of the research team, he studies the current state of public procurement, identifying effective strategies to improve government operations for public servants and residents, and works hand-in-hand with government partners to implement and scale evidence-based interventions.
Previously, Matt was a fellow at the Taubman Center for State and Local Government at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he worked on large-scale evaluations of federal nutrition assistance programs and other social policies including paid family leave, cash transfers, and the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Matt earned his Ph.D. in Population Health Sciences with a specialization in Public Health Nutrition and Food Policy, and his S.M. in Biostatistics from Harvard University. He also holds an M.S. in Epidemiology and a B.A. in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health.
