Maya Wilson
Maya Wilson is an Associate at Partners for Public Good (PPG), supporting the design and facilitation of training and capacity-building initiatives within the Procurement Excellence Network to empower public leaders in transforming their procurement practices. Previously, Maya served as Assistant Director of Procurement for the City of Atlanta, where she played a pivotal role in modernizing procurement operations by using data-driven frameworks to enhance supplier performance and streamline procurement processes. Maya began her tenure with the City of Atlanta by founding the data analytics branch within the Department of Procurement’s Center of Excellence which introduced innovative approaches to procurement data analysis, pioneered procurement data storytelling, and developed stakeholder engagement and performance tracking tools. Earlier in her career, Maya worked as a Data Analyst with the Atlanta Police Foundation, where she conducted research on crime displacement and evaluated the impact of the Secure Neighborhoods Program.
Maya holds dual Master’s degrees in Anthropology and Criminal Justice from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Kutztown University.
