What We Offer

PPG’s virtual workshops are structured, cohort-based learning experiences designed for state and local government teams working on infrastructure projects.

Each workshop combines:

  • Live, interactive learning sessions led by our team of experts
  • Hands-on assignments tailored to your project
  • Individualized coaching support
  • Peer learning with other government teams
  • Tools, templates, and examples you can use immediately

Our workshops are designed to help participants produce real work products such as RFIs, outreach plans, or draft solicitation materials by the end of the program.

Teams will also benefit from learning alongside peers from other governments, creating opportunities to share insights, test ideas, and learn from real-world experiences across jurisdictions.

What Else Should I Know?

  • Local governments are the primary target for this opportunity.
    • We work with cities, counties, metropolitan planning organizations, utilities, airports, special districts, and more.
  • Participating teams must assign one primary team lead to engage with PPG.
    • The team lead must be available to attend all cohort and coaching sessions.
    • The team lead must be available to communicate regularly with PPG staff via email or phone.
    • Up to four other government staff may actively participate in PPG workshops, with coordination primarily running through the team lead.

Selected teams will participate in multiple virtual learning sessions while receiving one-on-one assistance from an expert on our team. Participants will complete assignments designed to support their project goals after each session.

By the end of the workshop, teams will produce a relevant deliverable, such as a Request for Information, vendor survey, or Request for Proposals, under the guidance of their assigned coach.

PPG provides guidance, tools, and feedback throughout the process, but participating teams are expected to lead the work and apply what they learn to their own projects. Workshops are most effective for teams that have an active project and are ready to apply new tools and approaches in real time.
