PPG Tech Studio
Government’s operational engine—HR, procurement, IT, finance, and legal—deserve innovative, cutting-edge technology that is built with and for them. PPG Tech Studio is a space for cities and technology innovators to vision the future of government’s back office tech stack.
Cities can engage by joining an open cohort or contributing ideas to a future one.
Open Cohort: Vendor Performance Management Technology
For Cities: Applications will open soon for cities interested in improved, tech-enabled vendor performance management.
For Technology Builders: We will work with an innovative technology partner with pilot-ready solutions that improve vendor evaluations and tracking.
How It Works for Cities
Cities submit their back-office headaches and ideas. When enough cities hone in on a shared challenge, PPG will convene a technology cohort that might workshop, co-build, or test drive an emerging solution.
What can selected cities expect?
- A structured process that reduces the risk and burden of piloting new technology
- Peer connection with a cohort of cities working on the same problem
- Published recognition of cities’ experiences and contributions to the
- Influence over the products that drive cities’ core operations
How It Works for Technology Partners
We work with technology partners streamlining or rethinking back-office operations across HR, finance, legal, IT, and procurement functions.
What technology partners can expect
- Better quality and more user feedback than technology partners might get in a typical pilot
- Recognition in field publications that surface a product’s contribution to solving a real government challenge
- Guidance about where a product needs to go next, from the users who matter most
Applications are now closed for the first cohort for technology partners.
